When it comes to hit-and-runs, one of the best tools available to investigators is the general public. The more information they can spread in the public eye, the more likely someone is able to come forward with new information. There’s also the possibility a nearby business or residence had cameras with a view of the roadway. If authorities haven’t taken steps to canvass the area for possible video footage, they could be missing a crucial piece of evidence. There’s still hope that the victim’s loved ones will see a resolution to all of this.
