San Antonio, TX — July 16, 2023, a man was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident at around 1:37 a.m. along W. Southcross Boulevard.
It appears from initial statements that the incident took place in the area of the West Southcross Boulevard and PanAm Expressway (I-35) intersection.
According to officials, the incident involved a 41-year-old man was walking in the area. While doing so, it appears a vehicle struck the man as he was walking. That driver then apparently fled the scene.
Due to the collision, the pedestrian sustained injuries which were described as critical. The driver is still being sought at this time, and authorities say there will likely be charges when the driver is found.
