Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Single-vehicle wrecks can be challenging enough on their own, but there’s always a bit more concern when the victim has to be airlifted from the scene. Even if authorities have a chance to speak to the victim, the victim may not be in a condition to really tell their side of the story. That leaves it up to authorities to follow up with them or to let the evidence speak for itself. Unfortunately, I’ve seen them drop that ball too many times to take it for granted. Hopefully authorities here were more prudent.
