While details can’t be confirmed right now, authorities mentioned alcohol as a possible factor in the accident. If that’s true, then further investigations could reveal there’s a local alcohol provider responsible for the injuries here. This is due to the fact it’s illegal for alcohol providers to over-serve people who are obviously intoxicated. Doing so exposes them to potential criminal investigations, fines, license suspensions, and liability for injuries the intoxicated person causes to themselves or others. So while that may not be a factor here, it certain suggests this crash may be more complex than the typical car accident.
