Travis County, TX — April 12, 2024, Francisco Muniz and one other person were injured in a car accident just before 10:00 a.m. along Farm to Market 812.
According to authorities, 51-year-old Francisco Muniz was traveling in a westbound Honda Civic on Farm to Market 812 in the vicinity west of the Creedmoor Road intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Buick Enclave occupied by a 57-year-old man on F.M. 812 attempted a left turn onto a private drive at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to oncoming westbound traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front-right corner of the Civic and the front-end of the Enclave.
Muniz incurred reportedly severe injuries due to the wreck and the man from the Buick suffered moderate injuries, as well. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
