Houston, TX — May 31, 2023, a woman was fatally injured as the result of a pedestrian accident at around 3:15 a.m. along Veterans Memorial Drive.
Preliminary details provided by Harris County officials indicate that the collision took place along the 9600 block of Veterans Memorial Drive between Blue Bell Road and Highway 249.
At this time, exact circumstances are still under investigation. Current details say only that a woman was on the southbound lane of Veterans Memorial at the time. While there, a southbound Toyota Camry struck the woman.
The woman sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The driver did not have any reported injuries. Police say the driver was not intoxicated at the time.
