La Salle County, TX — January 15, 2024, Ernesto Alonso Rodriguez-Ramirez was killed and one other person was injured in a car accident along I-35.
According to authorities, Ernesto Rodriguez-Ramirez, of Roma, was a passenger in a truck that was traveling Interstate 35 when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the accident have yet to be confirmed. The vehicle reportedly overturned and rolled an unknown number of times before coming to a stop. Rodriguez-Ramirez incurred fatal injuries due to the crash. The other occupant of the vehicle, however, sustained injuries of unknown severity. They were transported to a local hospital in order to receive treatment.
