Seguin, TX — December 6, 2022, Erma Rivero Rodriguez and three others were injured in an accident around 2:25 p.m. at E. Cedar St. and Hwy. 123 in Seguin.

Sources report Ms. Rodriguez and her passenger were in a westbound Nissan Altima on Cedar St. when the Altima collided with two occupants in a Nissan Murano traveling southbound on Hwy. 123. Authorities report the Altima’s front passenger-side corner collided with the Murano’s front driver-side corner.

All four vehicle occupants involved in the accident were transported to a hospital. Authorities say both drivers suffered incapacitating injuries and both passengers suffered minor injuries.

Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

I have written before that I believe serious injuries sustained in a collision that occurred on the opposite side of the vehicle from the occupant are odd and require more investigation. It is the same here. Maybe someone has an explanation for why Ms. Rodriguez would suffer the same severity of injuries as the driver in the Murano, but has not released that information yet.

My hope is that authorities have all the pieces to this puzzle and have chosen not to release those details to the public; my concern is the possibility that no one is even raising these issues.
