College Station, TX — December 27, 2023, Edward Vargas and one other person were injured in a car accident at approximately 10:45 p.m. along University Oaks Blvd.
According to reports, 25-year-old Edward Venegas was traveling in a Dodge Dart on University Oaks Blvd. in the vicinity west of Rhett Butler Rd. When the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Dodge collided head-on with a Toyota Corolla which had been traveling in the opposite direction. Both Venegas and the 33-year-old woman who had been the sole occupant of the Corolla incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. They were each transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been clear and dry. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time.
