Harris County, TX — May 29, 2023, Eduardo Javier Chavez Jr. sustained fatal injuries due to a car accident at around 12:10 a.m. along Spring Stuebner Road.
Details about the fatal crash have been released by the Harris County Sheriff’s Department. Their statements say the wreck took place along the 2700 block of Stuebner Road in the area of the Fern Lacy Drive intersection, just off Holzwarth.
According to police officials, 21-year-old Eduardo Chavez was in a Dodge Ram that was going along eastbound Spring Stuebner Road. For reasons unclear, it appears the vehicle may have come into contact with the curb, then ran off-road. The Dodge continued off-road until it reportedly crashed into a tree.
Chavez was apparently ejected due to the crash, and his injuries ultimately proved to be fatal. Current reports do not mention anyone else being involved in the crash. Right now, they also have yet to confirm the cause of the crash. No further information is available at this time.
