Easton, CA — May 7, 2023, Edgar Maravilla was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 5:15 a.m. on Cherry Avenue in Easton.
Sources report the victim’s Honda Accord was southbound on Cherry Ave. when it collided with the rear of a stationary semi-truck on the road’s right shoulder.
Mr. Maravilla suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officials have not released why the semi-truck was parked on the side of the road or what caused the victim’s vehicle to veer.
