Trenton, NJ — January 3, 2023, one person was killed and two were injured in a dump truck accident at approximately 12:15 p.m. along Route 129.
According to authorities, the accident took place on Route 129 between Lalor Street and Case Street.
It has been confirmed that the accident took place between three different dump trucks. For as yet unknown reasons, one dump truck collided with the back end of a second dump truck. This collision led to a secondary crash with the third dump truck. All three of the drivers reportedly sustained injuries as a result of the accident; they were transported to a local medical center in order to receive treatment. However, one of the victims was later declared deceased, having succumbed to their injuries at the medical center.
The accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time have not been reported on. Additional details pertaining to his incident—including the identities of the victims—are not available at this point in time.
