Hidalgo County, TX — January 8, 2024, a Donna man was injured following a single-vehicle car accident at around 1:45 a.m. along Stites Road.
Investigators said in their initial statements that the crash happened just off the intersection of Stites Road and F.M. 493.
Authorities said that a 31-year-old Donna man was in a Ford Mustang going westbound along Stites Road. That vehicle apparently went off the left side of the roadway where it crashed through a fence line and then hit a cinder block wall.
The Mustang driver reportedly sustained serious injuries due to the accident. There were no other occupants in the vehicle at the time. At this time, no further information about the crash is available.
