Preliminary details about the accident from authorities say that the accident happened off the corner of Smith Road and El Dorado Drive.
According to officials, 37-year-old Diana Gonzalez was a passenger in a Nissan Versa which was going southbound on Smith Road. For reasons unconfirmed, the vehicle ran off the left side of the road. There, it went off a driveway and crashed into a tree. Gonzalez was killed due to the crash. The driver of the Nissan reportedly had serious injuries.
