Wise County, TX — August 11, 2023, a Saginaw man sustained fatal injuries as the result of a semi-truck accident just before noon along F.M. 51.
According to initial details released to the public, the incident happened at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 51 and Farm-to-Market 2123.
Officials said that a 40-year-old Saginaw man was on a Harley Davidson going northbound along the roadway. Crossing the intersection, it appears a semi-truck allegedly failed to yield going eastbound along F.M. 2123. This resulted in the vehicles colliding.
The Saginaw motorcyclist was fatally injured as a result of the crash. There were no other reported injuries. Details suggest there was a recommendation for a failure to yield citation. It’s unclear if any official charges have been filed since the accident.
