Wichita Falls, TX — September 4, 2024, Derick Beeman was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 8:30 p.m. along Southwest Parkway.
According to authorities, 56-year-old Derick Beeman was on foot attempting to cross Southwest Parkway from south to north in the vicinity of the Fairway Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, Beeman was hit by a westbound Ford Mustang. Beeman suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the collision and was declared deceased at the scene. Preliminary reports state that neither the driver nor the passenger of the Mustang sustained any injuries. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
