Guadalupe County, TX — April 29, 2024, Delilah Gomez was injured following a car accident shortly before 5:15 p.m. along East Court Street.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Delilah Gomez was traveling in a northbound Honda Civic on King Street at the East Court Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place in the intersection between the Civic and a southbound Chevrolet Traverse attempting to take a left turn onto Court Street. It is not clear, at this point, which vehicle had the right of way at the time of the accident. Gomez suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. No other injuries have been reported.
