An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the morning hours of September 26. According to official reports, Delfa Garcia was travelling in a Jeep Wrangler on Monte Cristo Rd in the eastbound lanes, when a Chevy Silverado coming from the west failed to yield right-of-way when turning, and collided with Garcia.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Garcia had sustained serious injuries and transported Garcia to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Garcia’s injuries and whether any charges or citations will be filed.
