San Antonio, TX — May 30, 2023, Corina Huerta was killed following a pedestrian accident early Tuesday along Brooklyn Avenue.
Investigators with Bexar County and the San Antonio Police Department say that the incident took place in the area of Brooklyn Avenue and Dallas Street in the northern Downtown area of the city.
Right now, the exact details surrounding the incident are scarce. Reports currently say only that 42-year-old Corina Huerta was walking to her car at the time. While walking, a vehicle somehow hit her, pinning her into another vehicle.
As a result of the collision, Huerta ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries. No other injuries were mentioned in reports. Police spoke with the driver, and there do not appear to be any pending charges or citations discussed in current reports. Authorities did say, though, that distraction may have been a factor in the accident. This and other details remain unconfirmed at this time.
