Williamson County, TX — December 1, 2023, Colter Davis-Nelson was killed and one person was injured after a car versus pedestrian accident at 4:52 a.m. on I-35.
Preliminary information about the fatal accident say that it took place along the northbound lanes of the interstate service road near West Morrow Street.
Officials said that 30-year-old Colter Davis-Nelson was on foot at the time. Davis-Nelson reportedly was attempting to cross the frontage road at the time. Meanwhile, police say a northbound Chevy Silverado was approaching going over the speed limit. That pickup struck Davis-Nelson, ultimately resulting in fatal injuries.
Currently, authorities say the Chevy driver was speeding and did not have a valid driver’s license. However, it’s unclear if they filed charges or citations. No further information is available to the public at this time.
