Montgomery County, TX — October 22, 2023, a Cleveland man was injured in a pedestrian versus car accident after midnight along Interstate 69.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened at approximately 12:52 a.m. along northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of F.M. 1314.
According to officials, a 20-year-old Cleveland man was on foot at the time following a previous single-vehicle crash. While in the roadway, a passing Honda CR-V struck the man, resulting in apparently serious injuries. The driver did not appear to be injured.
Authorities said that alcohol was a factor in the accident. Nothing can be confirmed right now pending further investigations.
