Monroe, LA — March 12, 2024, Christopher Pollard was killed after a semi-truck accident at around 7:00 p.m. along U.S. Highway 165.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened in the area of the U.S. 165 and Charleston Road intersection.
According to officials, 44-rear-old Christopher Pollard was in a vehicle going northbound along the highway. From oncoming lanes, it appears that a semi-truck made a left turn, and it entered the path of Pollard’s vehicle. This resulted in the vehicles colliding.
Pollard sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. Police have yet to mention any potential charges or citations. They say only that impairment is not suspected at this time. Investigations are ongoing.
