Elgin, TX — September 16, 2024, Chrishena Baker was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 6:30 A.M. on US 290.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person seriously injured during the afternoon hours of September 16th. According to official reports, Chrishena Baker was driving her vehicle westbound on US 290 when a Ford Explorer failed to yield right of way to Baker resulting in a collision.
As a result, the accident caused severe damage to both vehicles. Upon arrival by first responders they found that Baker had sustained serious injuries, and was transported to the hospital for treatment. At this time there has been no update on the status of the injuries, or if any charges or citations will be issued, however the accident remains under investigation.
