Harris County, TX — April 27, 2024, a child was injured due to an alleged drunk driver accident at around 1:00 a.m. along Proctor Street.

According to investigations, an 8-year-old boy riding with a man driving a Polaris Sportsman 4-wheeler. The vehicle was going northbound on Proctor when it went off the side of the road and crashed in the ditch. Both the driver and the child were thrown from the vehicle. This resulted in both occupants sustaining reportedly serious injuries. Their current conditions aren’t confirmed.
