Denton County, TX — October 17, 2024, Cheryl Letterio was injured following a car accident just before 10:00 p.m. along Farm to Market 156.
According to authorities, 35-year-old Cheryl Letterio was traveling in a northbound Nissan Juke on F.M. 156 at the John Wiley Road intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Juke attempted a left turn to head westbound on John Wiley at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic. This resulted in a collision between the front-right quarter of the Juke and the front-left quarter of a southbound Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Letterio suffered reportedly serious injuries over the course of the accident; she was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
