They say that 34-year-old Caty Boone and 43-year-old Heather Ann Duncan were in a Ford Focus that was hit by a Chevy Silverado. Both Boone and Duncan had apparently incapacitating injuries. The pickup driver also had incapacitating injuries. No further information about the crash can be confirmed at this time.
Gun Barrel City, TX — June 22, 2023, two people were injured as the result of a car accident late Thursday night along West Main Street.
Preliminary details about the accident say that it happened along the 1100 block of West Main Street, between Pleasure Land Road and Welch Lane.
According to officials, the accident involved a pickup truck and a car. For reasons unclear, the two vehicles crashed along Main Street, causing significant damage. This resulted in the two drivers from both vehicles sustaining injuries. The driver of the car reportedly had to be flown from the scene while the other motorist was taken to a local hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved, and authorities did not mention any other people being injured. Right now, factors leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
