Accident Report

August 26, 2026, Maritza Ordonez and one other were injured following a car accident that happened at 11:15 p.m. along Wheatland Road.

According to initial details from police, the crash happened at the intersection of Wheatland Road and South Hampton Boulevard in the Red Bird area.

Right now, reports say that at least three vehicles collided at the intersection. Following the crash, one person reportedly fled the scene on foot. Two others involved in the crash were taken to the hospital. Reports say they were Maritza Ordonez and a passenger in her vehicle. Other injuries weren’t confirmed.
