Calhoun County, TX — January 19, 2024, one person was injured as the result of a car accident just after midnight along F.M. 3084.
According to officials, the crash took place in the area of the Farm-to-Market 3084/Half League Road and West Mahan Street intersection.
Investigators said that a 21-year-old Pharr man and a 22-year-old man were in a Chevy Silverado which was going southbound along Half League Road. The vehicle apparently lost control and went left of center, then exited the roadway and crashed, resulting in the vehicle overturning.
Due to the crash, the 22-year-old passenger was thrown from the vehicle and sustained apparently serious injuries. It’s unclear whether or not the driver involved had any injuries. Currently, the cause of the crash remains unclear.
