How Did This Accident Occur?

When people see a single-vehicle car accident occur early in the morning, they usually just assume the driver was being reckless. As much as that deserves consideration, it’s also important to consider possibilities the driver may not have had control over.

For example, what are road conditions like in this area? Are there a bunch of potholes? Debris in the road? Poor lighting or a lack of signage? Is the speed limit too high? Is there a lot of unnecessary cross-traffic? That’s not something authorities often consider in their preliminary investigations. As a result, I’ve had cases where authorities missed something crucial and instead just assumed the victim did something wrong.

Whatever happened here, it’s important that the evidence is able to speak for itself. That way there can be as little room for doubt as possible. If anyone is local to this area, they may be able to shed some light on what the condition of this road is like.
