Victoria County, TX — February 27, 2025, two people were injured as the result of a two-car accident at around 12:21 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 616.
According to preliminary details released by authorities, the accident happened just northeast of Bloomington.
It appears that a 26-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were in a Mitsubishi Mirage going eastbound on F.M. 616. A Kia Sedona was going westbound. Somehow, the vehicles crossed paths and collided.
Due to the collision, the woman in the Mitsubishi was seriously injured. The man’s injuries weren’t confirmed. Authorities did not report any other injuries. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

After any car accident, it’s important to know that investigations are being handled properly. Authorities don’t always make that a priority. A proper crash reconstruction should be able to examine everything from speeds to road design issues to vehicle defects to alcohol to distracted driving. If authorities are too quick to move on, or if officers don’t have enough time or proper tools to do the job right, they can miss important details. That’s why it’s important victims and families consider having a second set of eyes look things over if they feel authorities aren’t addressing their doubts or questions.
