Wise County, TX — May 14, 2024, Brandy Price and three children were killed and Mark Clark Jr. was injured in a truck accident at about 5:30 a.m. on F.M. 1810.

According to authorities, 32-year-old Brandy Nicole Price and three children ages ten, seven, and three were traveling in a westbound Chevrolet Equinox SUV on Farm to Market 1810 in the vicinity of the C.R. 1340 intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the SUV attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone. This resulted in a head-on collision with an eastbound 18-wheeler occupied by 41-year-old Mark Clark Jr. The collision caused the SUV to catch fire.

Price and all three of the children in the SUV suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Clark sustained injuries of unknown severity; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Reports state that his injuries were not life-threatening.
