An investigation is underway following a car accident that happened during the morning rush-hour on August 15th. According to official reports, Bortros Youssef was travelling west on Watauga Road when an Infiniti failed to yield from the stop sign at Johnnie St. Due to the Infiniti failing to yield right of way, Youssef struck the vehicle causing an accident that resulted in severe damage to both vehicles.
When the first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Youssef had sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, there has been no other information released, including the status of Youssef injuries, as well as if any charges or citation will be filed.
