Clinton Township, NJ — June 18, 2024, Arthur Latzko was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle truck accident on State Highway 31.
According to authorities, Arthur John Latzko was a passenger in a southbound Volkswagen on S.H. 31 when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, two northbound vehicles—a dump truck and a Toyota—were involved in a collision. The collision resulted in the sedan being involved in a secondary collision with the southbound Volkswagen.
Latzko suffered fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota and two other people from the Volkswagen reportedly sustained injuries of unknown severity, as well; they were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
