Dallas, TX — September 29, 2024, Apolonio Sereno and two others were injured in a car accident at approximately 2:00 a.m. along Scyene Road.
According to authorities, 54-year-old Apolonio Sereno was traveling in a northbound Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Jim Miller Road at the Scyene Road intersection when the accident took place.

The intersection is apparently controlled by a traffic signal. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu occupied by two 19-year-old men on Scyene Drive disregarded the red light indicated by the traffic signal, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front end of the Malibu and the back left side of the pickup truck.
Sereno and one of the men from the Malibu suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the crash. The other man from the Malibu sustained moderate injuries, as well, according to reports. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
