Denton, TX — July 20, 2024, Andrew Watkins was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 3:49 A.M. on University Blvd.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the early morning hours of July 20th. According to official reports, Andrew Watkins was travelling in a Hyundai Elantra on University Blvd. in the eastbound lanes at the N. Loop 288 Ramp turning left, when a Honda Cr-V driving west failed to yield the right-of-way and struck Watkins.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Watkins had sustained serious injuries and transported him to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Watkins’s injuries.
