Austin, TX — May 26, 2023, Andrew Peet sustained fatal injuries as the result of a motorcycle accident at around 2:38 a.m. on Research Boulevard.
Investigators with the City of Austin have released initial details about the fatal crash, which they indicate happened along the 10200 block of Research Boulevard, which appears to be just off the Capital of Texas Highway.
According to officials, the motorcyclist was going northbound on Research Boulevard at the time when, for reasons unclear, the bike lost control. This resulted in the motorcycle hitting the guardrail. As a result, Mr. Peet sustained serious injuries. EMS transported the victim to a hospital, but his injuries ultimately proved fatal.
No one else was reportedly involved in the crash. Right now, no further information can be confirmed.
