Brazoria County, TX — November 24, 2023, Analusia Maldonado was injured due to a single-vehicle accident at around 10:50 p.m. along County Road 519.
Officials said that the crash happened in the area of the County Road 519 and County Road 310 intersection.
According to officials, 25-year-old Analusia Maldonado was in a pickup said to be going eastbound on CR-519. The vehicle apparently went to the left and exited the roadway before crashing into the ditch and overturning. As a result, Maldonado had incapacitating injuries.

Authorities mentioned alcohol and inattention were possible factors here, though frankly that could just be pure speculation. I’ve had a lot of people call our firm over the years who had police saying they were intoxicated, but evidence clearly showed that wasn’t true. If authorities aren’t also considering things like road hazards, tire blowouts, medical conditions, or event mechanical defects, they could be missing something important.
Now, I’ve also had a lot of personal injury cases against bars and other establishments that involved drunk drivers involved in single-vehicle wrecks. It’s pretty darn common, especially this late at night. But whether or not something is common shouldn’t impact whether or not it gets attention. It’s best to let the evidence speak for itself, and there just doesn’t appear to be any clear evidence in these preliminary statements.
