Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
As open-and-shut as these details may seem, I always emphasize the importance of having actual evidence following a car accident. To that end, people need to understand that the evidence authorities gather for filing charges and citations isn’t always enough on its own to help victims and families in other legal pursuits. That’s why many families end up needing independent investigators to examine a car accident even when the cause seems straight-forward. At the end of the day, having as much evidence as possible is how to get the best outcomes following serious accidents. I see no reason right now why this accident would be an exception to that.
