Houston, TX — June 30, 2023, Abel Flores was possibly injured as the result of a commercial truck accident at around 1:51 p.m. along Ley Road.
According to officials who released preliminary details, the incident took place along the 8100 block of Ley Road in the area Tremont Street.
Investigators said that 52-year-old Abel Flores was identified as the driver of a Nissan Murano that was going westbound along Ley Road. For reasons which have not yet been confirmed, a truck which was also going westbound reportedly left its lane and crashed into Flores’s vehicle.
Details say that Flores may have been injured, however this could not be confirmed based on currently available information. There were no other reported injuries. At this time, it appears that a charge was recommended for the truck driver who allegedly left the scene of the accident. Further information is unavailable.
