Goodyear, AZ — February 25, 2023, 2 bicyclists were killed and 11 bicyclists were injured in a truck accident around 8 a.m. on Cotton Lane Bridge in Goodyear.
Authorities report a pickup truck operated by Pedro Quintana-Lujan hit a group of bicyclists leaving two of the cyclists dead, 2 with life-threatening injuries, and many others minorly injured.
Police recommended sharing the pickup truck driver with manslaughter, aggravated assault, endangerment, and causing serious injury or death by a moving violation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
