How Did This Accident Occur?

This early in the morning, a hit-and-run tends to raise red flags for potential drunk driving. It’s often why people flee accidents like this, though certainly not the only possibility. Finding out for sure will likely mean tracking down the driver. To that end, did authorities look in the vicinity for any cameras? If there are nearby houses or businesses, one of them might have a security or doorbell camera with a view of the road. That evidence is often time-sensitive, so securing it quickly should be a priority. That may help get more information out to the public so that someone can finally connect the dots and help authorities work toward a just resolution.
