How Did This Accident Occur?

Without more information about the accident, I certainly won’t be jumping to conclusions. This could have been anything from a vehicle accident to an incident with power lines to equipment malfunction to a medical condition unrelated to the job. What’s important is making sure someone is getting the worker’s family clear answers about everything that happened. For one, they just deserve to know the whole story. Leaving them with unanswered questions wouldn’t be right. Two, having clear answers gives families the best opportunity possible to pursue a fair resolution. Texas has uniquely challenging work fatality laws, so entering that legal maze with as much evidence as possible means it’s more likely to reach a conclusion that best meets the family’s needs. Frankly, this isn’t something authorities often prioritize. So if it turned out OSHA left a lot of unanswered questions, it wouldn’t be that surprising.
