Accident Report

Bexar County, TX — September 2, 2026, Edward Finex was killed in a hit-and-run accident in the 7800 block of Hildebrandt Road outside San Antonio.

Authorities said a mowing crew discovered a man’s body in the grass near the intersection with South Foster Road. Injuries to his legs indicate he had been struck by a vehicle, according to authorities.

The man was identified as Edward Eugene Finex, 37, a San Antonio resident who had been missing since August 23, authorities said. He died several days before his body was discovered.

Authorities are searching for a 2004-2008 Ford F-150 with damage to its front end, including the headlight assembly on its right side.

They have not released any additional information about the Bexar County crash at this time.
