Anderson County, TX — August 39, 2026, Jerry Stringer was killed in a single-vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 287.

Authorities said a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu left the road and crashed into a tree near Cayuga.

Chevrolet driver Jerry Stringer, 75, of Corsicana was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
