Accident Report

Walker County, TX — July 25, 2026, Benjamin Chance was injured in a hit-and-run accident at about 1 a.m. on Interstate 45 south of Huntsville.

A preliminary accident report indicates that an unknown northbound vehicle towing a trailer changed lanes with it was not safe, colliding with a 2025 Harley-Davidson FLTRX motorcycle. The other vehicle did not stop after the crash.

Motorcyclist Benjamin Chance, a 26-year-old Star, MS resident, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Walker County crash at this time.
