Around July 2, 2026, one person was killed as the result of a workplace accident that happened along Jacksboro Highway.

Preliminary information in an OSHA inspection detail says that the employer allegedly involved in the incident was “199 Recycling Inc.,” who also appears to be located at the above address, just north of 9 Mile Bridge Road.

Right now, details about the accident are still under investigation. OSHA classified the work as “Recyclable Material Merchant Wholesalers.” The cause of the worker’s death has not been confirmed.

Investigations appear to be ongoing.

How Did This Accident Occur?

I’m certainly not here to speculate when thee are so few details available. What’s important is to make sure someone is looking out for the needs of the worker’s family. People sometimes assume that’s what OSHA does, but they are far more often focused on their own responsibilities. Meanwhile, families have to navigate the most complex work fatality laws in the whole country. That’s why families tend to fare better when they know someone is looking out for their interests and getting them all of the evidence they’re going to need. I see no reason right now why this incident would be an exception to that.
