Accident Report

Newcastle, TX — August 14, 2026, Paul Martinez was injured in a single-vehicle accident at about 10:45 p.m. on Lubbock Street/State Highway 251.

A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2014 Jeep Compass was heading south near Newcastle Cemetery when it crashed into a culvert.

Driver Paul Martinez, 34, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Young County crash at this time.
