Bullitt County, TX — August 24, 2026, 14 people were injured in a school bus accident at about 4:45 p.m. on Wilson Creek Road near Lebanon Junction.

Authorities said a Bullitt County Public Schools bus overturned after veering off the road near Old Boston Road. One student on the bus reportedly said it had a problem with its wheel.

The bus driver and eight Lebanon Junction Elementary School students were hospitalized with unspecified injuries after the crash, according to authorities. Another five students were taken to the hospital by parents.

The bus had been transporting 28 students at the time of the crash, school district officials said.
