Accident Report

August 23, 2026, Ruben Terrones was killed following a car accident that took place around 10:00 p.m. along Aldine Westfield Road.

Authorities said that the collision happened just south of Aldine Mail Route Road in north Houston. It appears that 24-year-old Ruben Terrones was on foot in the area of northbound lanes of Aldine Westfield Road. While there, a Chevy Tahoe struck Ruben Terrones.

Due to the collision, Ruben Terrones reportedly was fatally injured. The driver remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

How Did This Accident Occur?

A lot of pedestrian accidents come down to someone failing to yield the right of way, and it wouldn’t be unusual if the same proved true here, as well.
