How Did This Accident Occur?
At this point, we don’t know why this truck went off the road in the first place. Was the driver distracted or fatigued? Did the truck swerve to avoid another vehicle or an object in the road? Did the truck have an issue with its steering mechanism? I don’t know the answer to these questions, but these are the kind of things that authorities must consider as they investigate this crash.
Investigators will work to reconstruct this crash by going over vehicle data, physical evidence, witness statements and available video footage, while cell phone records could show what the truck driver was doing the time.
This investigation should give the Honda driver’s family a clear picture of what caused this accident.
